When it comes to planning your wedding ceremony, maybe you are like me and feel like you don’t fit into a traditional mold.

I became an ordained minister because I saw a need for couples who wanted an alternative to the norm: couples who had been married previously; couples from different ethnic and/or religious backgrounds; couples who identified as LGBTQIA+; couples who weren’t welcomed to hold a traditional church wedding or had even been disowned by their families.

My own life journey has taken many twists and turns. I hold a doctorate degree and wear several hats as an author, higher ed administrator, and active community member. Although I am an empty-nester now, I raised five sons (yes, 5!) as a mostly-solo parent, while also pursuing graduate school & career.

I finally met the love of my life in my late 40s, so I can relate to non-traditional love stories. 💛 I am also an LGBTQIA+ affirming Ally who believes that LOVE is LOVE.
